Dublin Delight
2 parts Grey Goose Le Citron flavored vodka
1 part simple syrup
1 kiwi fruit peeled and quartered
1 sprig of mint
1 inch piece of vanilla pod
Splash of club soda
In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, place kiwi, mint and vanilla pod. Pour in simple syrup; muddle well. Add vodka and ice to the mixture. Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted. Double strain into large wine glass filled with ice, top with club soda and garnish with sprig of mint or kiwi rindIn the bottom of a cocktail shaker, place kiwi, mint and vanilla pod. so perfect for spring holidays and garden parties too.
Green Sangria
1 bottle pinot grigio
1 ½ oz Midori melon liqueur
½ green apple, cored and sliced
½ lime, sliced
¼ English cucumber, sliced
10 mint leaves
½ kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
club soda to taste
Combine all ingredients except club soda in a pitcher and refrigerate for a minimum of two hours and a maximum of eight hours.
For individual servings, spoon some of the fruit into a wine glass before pouring and then top off with a splash of club soda, diet lemon-lime soda or diet ginger ale to taste.
A delicate pale punch…
Irish Tea Punch
1 750 ml Jameson Irish whiskey
1 cup black tea (cooled)
½ cup Meyer lemon simple syrup
1 cup sparking water
¼ cup lemon juice
lemon and orange slices
Mix ingredients together in a punch bowl, add sparkling water to taste. Float an ice block in the bowl. Serve in punch cups over ice.
*Be creative…insert fruit or flowers into the ice block.
